I'm A Finalist

I woke up this morning to fantastic news and I've been smiling about it ever since. The team over at LoveAllDads have announced their finalists for this years blogging awards. I'm a listener of their fantastic podcast, regularly check their site and am even featured again in this months blogging showcase there and was therefore keen to see the shortlist. I was keen to see it, just so I could make sure I was regularly reading the best of the best Dad bloggers but was grinning like a cheshire cat when I spotted my name appear on the list not once, but twice!! 

I'm pleased to be able to tell you that I've been nominated as 'Best Newcomer' and with my post about racism, 'Blog Post of the Year'. If you don't recall reading what was one of my favourite blog posts, or haven't yet had the chance to see it, then you can do so by clicking here.

I'm extremely proud to be mentioned, recognised and be considered amongst such great company. Some of the other bloggers highlighted in this years list of finalists are authors or blogs I read regularly, admire and inspire to be like; for that reason alone this has been a very good Saturday!
